Owner Ono Hikaru has trained as a barista for over 10 years in Australia, Hong Kong, and Japan. Shortly after winning the Japan Brewers Cup 2022, a competition in which top baristas compete in brewing techniques, he received an American Diedrich roaster from an acquaintance and decided to open his own coffee shop.
They offer a wide range of beans from light to dark roasts, using a variety of origins and processing methods, and drip coffee is brewed using different equipment depending on the taste and aroma. There are over 10 types of beans available in the shop. Geisha is generally preferred as a medium-light roast, but they choose a dark roast and use a cloth filter to bring out a smooth, creamy texture. This "playful" approach is what makes it so appealing, especially for someone who has won the championship himself.
In addition to their own roasted coffee beans for in-store drip coffee, they also stock a variety of guest coffee beans from other companies.
