The one thing that shaped me
I look at astrology on a daily basis, and the stars are closely related to "time." That's why I'm conscious of the existence of "time" in my creative work, and I feel like I'm outputting my work while traveling back and forth between the past and the present. Naturally, I've also had the habit of wearing a watch.
I've always loved digital watches, but in 2023 I had a new encounter. I was in charge of the flower garden installation at the event "Grand Seiko Fruit and Flower Japanese Sweets Shop Toki" held at Stand By in Harajuku, and it was there that I came across the SBGM221.
In this way, the things I need always come together naturally. I always wear it except when I'm working with clay. It's very important to feel the second hand ticking on my skin.
