While working in the public relations department of the UCC Group, MAKI first encountered Panama Geisha and was captivated by its sweetness and elegant, floral flavor. While always sporting a bright smile, she has a stoic attitude towards extraction.
He has obtained the Coffee Meister qualification from the Japan Specialty Coffee Association, and faithfully follows the methods recommended by the association to practice "proper" extraction, bringing out the wonderful original flavor of the beans in each cup.
He uses a Hario dripper and sources mainly medium-light roast coffee from Donate Coffee and Fujiyama Coffee Roasters in Yamaguchi.
