Enjoy a special drink at the stand that will change your life

Ignis, a popular shop in Sendagi run by Eiji Dobashi, has opened a store in Kamakura along Wakamiya-oji, in the former location of a rice cracker shop. "Thanks to everyone's support, Sendagi has become a place where many coffee lovers gather. That's why I decided that if I were to open a store next, I'd like it to be somewhere that people who aren't coffee enthusiasts would happen to come across. That's why I chose Kamakura, a tourist destination."

The beans range from relatively basic specialty varieties produced in Kenya and Ethiopia to ultra-high-end varieties that are exhibited at COE and other international competitions.

"You might just happen to stop by a shop and find a cup of coffee that you'll only get to drink once in your lifetime. I want to provide such wonderful encounters and give people life-changing experiences."

Paragon is used for the extraction. "It thickens the tea and gives it a richer aroma," says Dobashi.
