HAYAKAWA coffee

Enjoy the fruity flavor of medium-light roast coffee with our special baked goods

"The coffee I had at Cafe Vivemont Dimanche in Kamakura on March 31, 2018, changed my life," says owner Yu Hayakawa.

He was a barista at a major cafe at the time, but he became obsessed with the charm of specialty coffee and before he knew it, he was visiting around 200 stores a year all over Japan. While pursuing brewing and roasting on his own, he rented space in a Western-style pastry shop and restaurant he was friends with and then went independent.

"We carry beans from major producers in Africa, Central and South America, and Asia, as well as niche producers. We offer a selection of medium-light roasts that bring out the full potential of the beans. We hope you enjoy pairing our coffee with our baked goods, which complement the flavor of our coffee."
