When I was a child living around Ogikubo, I often went to play on the rooftop of a shopping mall called Town Seven with my mother and brother. After playing a lot, we always had to eat this soft serve ice cream. Not only is it a taste that brings back memories, but the mix here is especially delicious!
It's rich but not too sweet, and has a smooth texture. It looks ordinary, and the vanilla and mocha flavor itself is common, but I've never come across anything similar. Soft serve ice cream is a sweet with a mysterious charm; you can eat it without a plate or spoon, and you can eat it while walking around without being scolded for bad manners. This soft serve ice cream is particularly special, so every now and then I get a sudden craving and head to Ogikubo in search of this flavor.
