Guide: Shoichiro Ibushi (RHYTHMOS leather craftsman)
Meizan VOUL
A marriage of local produce and spices. A curry restaurant that transforms into a bar at night
- Curry for lunch, alcohol and spicy dishes for dinner.
- Freshly ground spices that add a fragrant aroma to snacks such as fried sweet shrimp and tandoori chicken.
-Craft draft beer is also available.
- Brown sugar shochu, a specialty of the Amami Islands in Kagoshima, is mixed with soda and paired with ethnic fried noodles.
- On days when you don't feel refreshed, try cardamom shochu.

Orange
The entrance to Kagoshima Bar. Everyone is drinking happily.
-We always have 15 brands of sweet potato shochu available, including seasonal varieties such as "Yamato Sakura" and "Nakamura."
・The proprietress's self-taught cuisine is a mix of Japanese and Western cuisine.
・The local food is chicken sashimi, seared.
- Homemade yuzu pepper is a versatile condiment.
・The owner and his wife are so kind, I'm sure I'll be coming back. Honestly, I could go there every day.

Meizanbori Umeya
Enjoy the new adult world of oden with good sake
・The store is filled with the gentle aroma of oden soup stock.
・What makes it different from other oden is that it is drizzled with olive oil to match the ingredients.
-There are about 20 varieties of seeds, ranging from classics such as daikon radish and mochi-kinchaku to grilled cabbage and avocado.
・The basics are natural wine and oden.
・Dashi is a chaser.

NEJI
A perfect place for an aperitif or a final stop. A bar that also fills you up.
・You can drink a little earlier, starting at 5pm.
- The natural wines and craft beers selected by the owner are of unparalleled taste.
・He is self-taught in cooking, which gives him a brilliant artistic talent.
For example, strawberries and bonito wings marinated in yuzu pepper, and pan-fried dumplings with shrimp and fermented cabbage.
・The walls are bright red, but strangely calming.

Futoshi Shoten
Head to the shop and bar for shochu and Tokunoshima specialties
・It used to be a liquor store and a convenience store, so it still looks like a convenience store from the outside.
- Run by a couple from Tokunoshima, Kagoshima.
・For alcohol, try "Meizanbori" shochu made in Meizancho, Kagoshima City, or brown sugar shochu from Tokunoshima.
・Tokunoshima specialties include egg rice balls, koumakibuni (salted pig's feet), and miso peanuts.
