Celadon ware is a type of ceramic that represents Chiang Mai. Made using soil from northern Thailand and locally sourced glazes, it is characterized by its soft jade green finish. There is a tea house where you can enjoy tea and food made using this celadon ware.
Located in a 110-year-old building with a soaring ceiling and a pleasant garden, you can enjoy an afternoon tea set of traditional Thai tea picked in Chiang Dao, north of Chiang Mai. If you like the tea, you can also purchase celadon pottery at the attached shop.
The "De Lann set" includes rice flour and tea scones with homemade jam, fresh coconut cream, assorted mini cake tarts, and bake of the day. Choose from 11 types of tea. 495฿. 
The bowls are 150฿, and the large, medium and small plates are 160฿, 140฿ and 120฿ respectively. They also make great souvenirs. 
A wide variety of tea leaves are available for purchase, including "Finest Oolong Tea" for 295฿ for 50g.
