Japanese-made tanned leather wallet

A few years ago, I came across a Japanese-made tanned leather wallet. It's my favorite and has been worn quite a bit, giving it a nice character.

Small wallets are ideal, but I'm not good at tri-fold wallets. This bi-fold wallet fits bills perfectly, coins, and cards, and the zipper opens and closes smoothly, making it easy to use. The patchwork-like design is also a plus.

This wallet has become a part of my body. It's so thin you wouldn't believe it's stuffed to the brim with medical cards and cards. The tag string makes it easy to grab it from a backpack full of small items.

NEEDLES x Koshu Inden wallet
NEEDLES x Koshu Inden wallet

Koshu Inden is a traditional craft from my hometown of Yamanashi. The first wallet I bought was a special order from NEEDLES.

This lucky charm features a crane and turtle motif lacquered onto purple deerskin, typical of NEEDLES. It's been around for about 15 years, and the pattern has almost completely peeled off. It was badly faded after being caught in a heavy rain at the Asagiri JAM one day, but every time I pick it up, it reminds me of my hometown.

He admires his local elder brother, Shimizu Keizo, the representative of NEPENTHES and designer of NEEDLES, as a stylish man who looks good in a Koshu Inden drawstring pouch.

My partner bought me this wallet for my birthday. I chose the simple black color with only the LOEWE foil stamping, expecting to use it for a long time. I like the size that fits snugly in the front pocket of my pants.

I always carry it with me when I go out, and it's easy to use and has hardly deteriorated over time. I put a few cards and a little cash in it, which is enough for my daily life.
