The origin of my thoughts, which I have reread many times since I was a child
I remember reading the book "Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind" buried in a pile of books on the floor of my parents' house. There was a Nausicaä poster on the trash can at home, and it made a strong impression on me even as a child. After that, when I left my parents' house, I bought all the volumes.
Reading it again as an adult, I realized that I have always thought about radiation and war, and have even written about them in my novels and works. There were moments when it all made sense to me why Hayao Miyazaki depicts "wind" and "forests," and why he chose the Sea of Decay as his setting. I respect Hayao Miyazaki for continuing to express these things in his work from an early age, and I want to keep his thoughts close to my eyes, keep them in my heart, and recommend them to my children and friends whenever I have the chance, so I bought the paperback. This is a family heirloom.
