Noriyoshi Haga's My Rules

Wear clothes that fit your lifestyle, going back and forth between work and everyday life

For me, denim jackets are both everyday wear and work wear. That's because I've established a cycle where I first wear them for everyday use to make them more comfortable to move in, and then I wear them to work. For that reason, it's essential that my jacket is made of a tough fabric that can safely cover my upper body.

That's why I can't do without my denim jacket except in the hot summer and cold winter. I like pants that are easy to stand and squat in. My innerwear is a sleeveless top that allows me to move my arms around freely. Today, I'm wearing a knit vest under my jacket. A hat is essential to protect my head. So, ultimately, the criteria for choosing my wardrobe are determined by what I need to wear at work.

She liked the dark blue color, which was close to black, and bought it from Figbell about five years ago. "I really like the dark look of denim, so I want to avoid it getting faded as much as possible," she says, and for that reason, she has only washed it once. Contrary to its appearance, the fabric is already soft and fits her body well.

Kosuke Adam's My Rules

I've updated my standards, which I've had since my teens, with style to suit my age!

Ever since I first put on a denim jacket as a junior high school student, Levi's® has been synonymous with denim. It all started because the rock bands I listened to at the time and the skaters I was crazy about all wore the compact silhouette denim jackets. Even now as an adult, the image of Levi's® = cool is burned into my mind.

When it comes to coordinating outfits, a white T-shirt or white tank top underneath has always been a sure thing. Matching the colors of jeans and denim on denim creates a sense of unity, but it can look too rustic, so I always go with black jeans. On the other hand, the only thing that has changed since 20 years ago is my accessories. I'm an adult now, so I need to at least make my denim style look classy.

"The fresh combination of classic and designer has helped me evolve my go-to style," he says of the Vetements x Levi's® denim jacket. The layered gimmick was created by dismantling and reconstructing two pieces. Regardless of the trends of the times, the compact denim jacket is Kousuke's go-to silhouette.
