Enjoy the heartfelt Western cuisine created by Oyakotaka

The famous Western restaurant, Restaurant Shichijo, is coming to Mitaka in December 2023. Founded in 1976, he inherited the restaurant that his father opened in the Shogakukan Building, then moved to Kanda Ogawamachi, and then to Mitaka.

This was truly the home of the current owner, Kiyotaka Shichijo. He reduced the capacity of the restaurant so that it could be run comfortably by just his son Kei and his wife Izumi. "Lunch is mainly handled by my son," says the owner. The third generation is steadily growing, and it's reassuring.

Lunch is mainly an à la carte menu. The lineup is so tempting, with popular mixed fries, assorted minced meat cutlets and fried shrimp, fried chicken, hamburger steak with demi-glace sauce, and more, that it's enough to send your mind into a panic, wanting to try this and that.

In the evening, they serve only courses, with a prix fixe style where you can choose your main dish and dessert. "In the evening, we serve a bistro with Western-style main dishes," says the owner. You can relax and enjoy a meal while sipping wine, beer, or highballs.
