Versatility is important to be able to handle any situation. If it doesn't exist, just make it.

You have no idea what's inside a cave until you actually dive in. It's essentially an expedition into the unknown, so you need the skills and tools to tackle any field and be a culmination of outdoor adventures. The humidity inside a cave is very high, and once something gets wet, it never dries. It's important to accept that equipment that can get wet will get wet, and to thoroughly waterproof equipment that you don't want to get wet, such as sleeping bags.

This backpack was designed with the assumption that water would get in, with holes for drainage, and with the idea of dividing up luggage into smaller compartments to make it waterproof. It took a year to get a manufacturer that sells waterproof bags to understand this. To venture into the unknown, sometimes you need to think outside the box.

There are no more unknown places on earth for humans, but underground there are still spaces that no one has ever seen. There is no end to cave exploration, so I can't stop.
