This series was designed by Belgian architect Vincent Van Duysen. Its clean shapes and lines create a sense of quiet tension at the dining table.
The design is unwavering, and the amount of black rim is just right. The contrast between black and white is beautiful, and it seems to bring a sense of order to the start of the day. Every time I pick it up, I feel the sensibility of the maker.

I'd always wanted a pair of Superleggera boots since I was a university student. The slender legs and the way the braids are joined together create a sense of tension, and they exude a quiet strength within their lightness. I'd been putting them off, thinking I'd get one someday, but the news of the price increase gave me the push I needed to get one.
Simply placing it in a space emanates the beauty of its lines and a pure presence. Gio Ponti's reason and sensibility still live on.
Kungyokudo Rosan Sandalwood Incense
Fragrances are an important item for creating a space's atmosphere. I use candles and oils, but I always come back to sandalwood. I've tried many sandalwood scents, but so far, I feel like the scent of Laoshan Sandalwood has quietly blended in.
It is customary to light one in the morning as a token of gratitude to one's ancestors, and the lingering smoke brings a sense of tranquility into the room.
