Speaking of karaoke, there's one town that comes to mind: Koja in Okinawa City, Okinawa Prefecture. Koza Gate Street is packed with exotic live music venues, snack bars, pubs, bars, and cafes, and is always bustling, even at night. Many establishments also have karaoke, and as I walked around the town, I could hear the joyous sounds of singing leaking out from all directions. I have fond memories of going into one of those snack bars and singing Yamapi's "Daite Senorita." When you dig up fond memories, don't you tend to hear love songs?
