This orthodox product is made using the rare Sanuki Wasanbon sugar, which is made in Kagawa Prefecture from a variety of sugarcane called "Chikusha," and is produced by Baikodo, a long-established manufacturer of Wasanbon sugar in Kagawa Prefecture.
