The original soap dish by Claska Gallery & Shop Do was commissioned from a factory in Gifu Prefecture that makes sake masu boxes. Crafted from Kiso cypress, known for its antibacterial and moisture-resistant qualities, it was beautifully detailed using a technique called arare-gumi (scratching). It also has a raised base like a slatted base, ensuring excellent ventilation. The calming scent of natural wood fills the bathroom pleasantly.
