Photography is infinitely free. There is room for the viewer to freely imagine the captured moment and the time before and after it. I believe that there is something that can be communicated precisely because there are no words or sounds that limit the way one looks at it.
For example, this photo of a girl with short hair. If it were titled "Meeting" or "Parting," the viewer would naturally think of it as a scene like that. "Is this the moment I met my special someone for the first time?" or "Is this the final moment before we part ways?" That's how much a photo can become.
However, I would like to be able to capture the atmosphere of the moment on the other side of the lens, and to do that, it's important that both parties are natural.
Observe the subject carefully and grasp a comfortable distance. This photo was also taken when I was with a friend. The light, the breeze, and the conversation with her made that moment feel so good. I hope to be able to capture not only the subject, but also the invisible moments. That is what I always hope when I take photos.
What do I want to communicate? I rarely take photographs with a clear idea in mind. But when I look at what others have taken, I sometimes find my own memories and feelings overlapping with them. The everyday moments I capture connect with someone else's memories and experiences. There may be a richness in this that can only be conveyed through photography.
