Because it's something you'll have for the rest of your life, choose a unique masterpiece

Clothes, jewelry, and watches. I generally like unusual designs that are different from what most people have. One watch I'm particularly fond of is the Jaeger-LeCoultre Reverso Duo that my husband gave me in 2022. The strap was originally black crocodile, but I changed it to a yellow ostrich strap.

Combined with the rose gold case, this is one of my favorites, giving the wrist a sophisticated yet unique look. Watchmaking design is so sophisticated that it doesn't need updating, even in a world where millimeters are the limit.

As I get older, I've become more and more drawn to the stories behind things, and I think that this is best reflected in watches.

This model was created to withstand the shocks of playing polo, a sport said to be the oldest in the world. "The appeal is that it packs a very complex structure into a small size, with one movement powering two dials."
