COFFEE BLOND

Serving punchy, unique flavors in a quiet residential area

Owner Asuka Natsume gained experience as a barista at a major cafe before learning specialty coffee at The Roastery by Nosy Coffee and Allpress Espresso. She uses beans from Leaves Coffee Roasters in Kuramae.

The beans roasted by Yasuo Ishii, the shop's president, were an encounter that changed his concept of coffee. When the shop first opened, the lineup was carefully balanced, but now that he has come to understand the preferences of his customers, he has deliberately chosen to offer more unique flavors. His recommended coffee is Kenya, which has a punchy flavor with citrus notes such as orange.

It's located in a residential area, less than a 10-minute walk from the station, so it's not particularly accessible, but the fact that it's bustling with regular customers from the surrounding area shows the significance of the coffee shop.
