SWITCH COFFEE TOKYO
Meguro's famous roastery, which blends into everyday life, has been renovated
Switch Coffee Tokyo is a roaster and coffee stand that opened in 2013. The original store was used as a roastery, and a cafe with large benches was opened nearby. It is located halfway between Meguro Station and Nakameguro Station, right in the middle of a residential area.
"I wanted to create a place where people could drop in as casually as they would a nearby water station. That's why we're roasting the same way as before, creating something that can be enjoyed daily and doesn't tire you out," says owner Masahiro Onishi. The beans are sourced half from Africa and half from Central and South America, with around six varieties always available, and decaffeinated coffee is also available in drip packs.
"After all, the most important thing is fast, cheap, and delicious," and takeaway morning coffee is available for 280 yen.
