He made his street dream come true in Tottori through sumo, and after leaving the ring he arrived at a slim size 4.

When I started sumo in junior high, I was forced to choose between quitting school for bad behavior or joining the sumo club, and one day a delinquent senior student suddenly appeared and introduced me to the rappers OZROSAURUS and 2Pac, which is when it all began.

From there, my interest in street brands naturally expanded, and I started wearing clothes from Stüssy and NITRAID. I was part of that generation. I came to Tokyo to attend university, and was shocked by the image of Nike futsal shoes on an outdoor advertisement in Shinjuku. That was how I met ESOW, who arranged flowers at my hair-cutting ceremony in June 2012.

I once had a kimono designed by tattoo artist GAKKIN, and these "sumo dreams" of mine were all things I would go see without an appointment, introduce myself, and ask for. Since I've lost some weight since retiring, I now like to wear a size 4 from DESCENDANT, which my wife also likes, tucked in for a neat look.
