People appear on T-shirts. Artist Hiramatsu Asa

It's just a T-shirt, but it's still a T-shirt. Each T-shirt tells an eloquent story of the owner's life. We asked painter Asa Hiramatsu to tell us about her favorite T-shirts.

My T-shirts, made like paintings on a canvas

When I wear it, people ask me, "What's with that face?" but it's a picture of a cat I drew with a G pen. I'd always wanted to make my own T-shirts, and then I heard that a friend had a silkscreen printing kit called "T-shirt-kun" that you can use to print T-shirts, so I had him print several in black on a dark red body.

Although it looks quite devilish, the cat I drew with Tarako Lips is titled "Cat Gang." The handmade feel of printing each one and letting it dry makes it a creative piece that you can try out casually, and above all, it's a fun experience to have your own doodle turned into a T-shirt. I really like it, and I often wear it at home and when I go out.

Apparently, an acquaintance who thought these Neko Gang T-shirts were great asked to make some as a gift, and 80 copies were officially printed.
