A rising star pioneering the future of Swiss watchmaking
The logo, which features two "Ns" - the initial letter of the brand name - arranged to resemble a mountain peak, represents the challenging spirit of a brave mountaineer. NORQAIN is a rising star in the Swiss watch industry, having only just been launched in 2018.
Founder Ben Kaffer was born into a family with a long history of watchmaking. After a successful career at Breitling, he founded NORQAIN, hoping to share the appeal of Swiss-made mechanical watches, which he had grown up familiar with, with a younger generation. He was 30 years old at the time. With the cooperation of suppliers from various fields, led by managers of his generation who shared his passion for pioneering the future of Swiss watches, the collection was completed the year after the company was founded.
All models are mechanical and entirely Swiss-made. The design is unconventional, following the classic path of a sports watch with a moderate vintage feel. The exterior is meticulously hand-finished, and the left side of the case is equipped with a "Norqain plate" that can be personalized with your favorite inscription. Norqain's mechanical watches, which are high-quality, beautiful, playful, and offer excellent value for money, have been warmly welcomed by the market.
In 2022, Jean-Claude Biver, the watchmaking legend who revived Blancpain and led Hublot to great success, was appointed as an advisor. He chose this position to pass on the know-how he gained throughout his career to the younger generation. Biver's advice led to the creation of a new style: a multi-layered case and Nortec, a unique carbon composite material that can be colored in a variety of ways.
The Wild One, which was born last year using these technologies, has launched a new initiative this year, offering custom patterns that allow for 3.5 million different combinations. Norqain's challenge to pave the way for a bright future for the Swiss watch industry continues.

A stylish take on the 1960s style
The high-contrast three-eye dial, box-shaped sapphire crystal, and hammer-shaped pushers are retro details inspired by sports chronographs from the 1960s, while the clean cylindrical case adds a touch of modernity.

The linen-like ivory fabric is made from a unique material called "Nortide," which is made 100% from marine plastic. It costs 682,000 yen. 
You can also choose a Perlon strap with a distinctive cross-woven pattern. It's made of rubber and is water-resistant. The reverse V-shaped Norqain stitching adds an accent. Price: 704,000 yen. 
The plate attached with screws to the left side of the case can be engraved with a name, anniversary, message, etc., up to 12 characters.

Layered with ultra-lightweight new materials
The titanium container housing the movement is housed in a rubber shock absorber, and the front and back are sandwiched between Nortec parts. The layered case, made up of 25 parts, allows for a rich three-dimensional effect and a fusion of different materials.
Both materials have a low specific gravity, and combined with the skeleton dial, the total weight is just 78g. This ultra-lightweight sports watch boasts high precision as a COSC-certified chronometer and is water resistant to 200m, making it the perfect partner for a variety of activities. The latest model features a striking black and coral color scheme.

The case back is also black and coral, and has a skeletonized frame structure that is wide enough to withstand the impacts of active use.
