Expressing the pride of a tailor through cutting

Aventus was inspired by a famous emperor in history. The bottle is beautifully cut, based on the hip flask, a knight's favorite. This eau de parfum, which expresses the image of energetic masculinity and success, was launched in 2010 and quickly gained enthusiastic support. Now, a new visual titled "Cut Different" has been released as an icon that once again speaks of the brand's signature, beautifully embodying the spirit of Creed, which was founded as a tailor in 1760. Let's take a look back at the history of Creed.

The scented leather glove that started the legend

The story begins in 18th century London, where James Henry Creed opened the tailor shop House of Creed. It is said that he delivered scented leather gloves to the then King of England, George III. Years passed, and when his granddaughter, Victoria, became Queen, she appointed House of Creed as a Royal Warrant Holder. It then caught the eye of Napoleon III and his wife, Empress Eugénie, and in 1854 the brand established a base in Paris. Its exceptional tailoring skills and custom-made perfumes became a status symbol among the royal family. Since then, it has created over 200 fragrances using the finest ingredients.

Traditional manufacturing methods enhance artistic quality

Creed begins by visiting the source of ingredients and carefully selecting the most fragrant ones. This is the "Seed to Scent" philosophy that the House of Creed upholds. The fragrances are created in Fontainebleau, a factory surrounded by beautiful forests, about an hour and a half by train and car from Paris. Natural fragrances from around the world, such as rose from Bulgaria and jasmine from Italy, are delivered, measured by hand, and essential oils are extracted. The oils are then blended according to the brand. Creed calls this process "The Art of Millesime." Incidentally, Millesime (harvest year) is a wine term. Just as the quality of grapes determines the quality of wine, the quality of flowers and plants holds the key. Perfume, too, is an art created by the blessings of nature.
