Immerse yourself in a densely crafted worldview. Be moved by the passion of the creators you can glimpse.
First of all, Cyberpunk 2077 has an emotional impact as a project. Eight years after its announcement, it was finally released, only to find it full of bugs and difficult to progress smoothly. Thanks to the sizzle of the world, you can't help but play it on the edge, wondering if it's been hacked.
It didn't even make it to Game of the Year. Despite that start, the publisher, CD PROJEKT RED, declared, "We'll fix it!" and continued to make corrections. Unlike pay-to-play online games, spending money on one-time software doesn't even come to a single yen.
But they continued to fix it in order to maintain trust, and three years later, it was finally completed this year with a major update that included a new scenario DLC. Their determination to never give up and their willingness to risk their lives for user satisfaction moved me as a creator.
The world of Neuromancer is finally available to experience
Another point is that it's an amazing experience. When I was in junior high school, I was fascinated by William Gibson's science fiction novel "Neuromancer." It is a masterpiece that presented a vision of a future where technological advances would give birth to a super-cyber slum, and it influenced "AKIRA" and "Ghost in the Shell." I had always hoped for it to be made into a movie, but despite rumors, it never came to fruition. This game has made that dream a reality in the world of games.

Scenes from "Neuromancer" are used, such as the wealthy's resort in orbit and the hacking of a satellite into which a raiding force rushes in. Furthermore, Keanu Reeves plays the main character Johnny, a homage to the film "JM" based on a Gibson novel, which made the "cyberpunk = Keanu" impression.
This is something they really understand. What's more, the world of Night City, where nothing exists in reality, has been meticulously recreated, right down to the signs and company logos. This represents the culture and history of each region, so there's an incredible amount of information density. I don't think there's any other game that can give you such an immersive experience.
