A luxurious stay with excellent facilities

KUJIRA-JIMA (Okayama)

Located about 30 minutes by boat from Uno Port in Tamano City, Okayama Prefecture, this uninhabited island is about 2km in circumference. You can choose from three different styles of accommodation: cottages with interiors made from Okayama's famous denim, glamping in dome tents, or camping at a tent site. It is equipped with hot shower rooms and flush toilets, so even beginners can feel at ease. There is also a jacuzzi on the wooden deck of the cottage. BBQs and meals prepared by a private chef can also be ordered.

Treehouses and sea kayaking! An island packed with activities

Tashima (Nagasaki)

Tajima Island, located in Omura Bay in Nagasaki Prefecture, has a circumference of about 3.2 km, and with the support of an instructor, you can go camping on a deserted island empty-handed. It was inhabited until 40 years ago, and there are 100-year-old traditional houses standing on the island, but electricity, gas, and water are unavailable. On the island, you can enjoy a variety of activities, such as tree houses, sea houses, sea kayaking, cooking rice in a kettle, and Goemon baths.

Self-sufficient survival, from sourcing food to making fire

Tsumagashima Island (Nagasaki)

It's only about a five-minute boat ride from Indoji Port on Iki Island in Nagasaki Prefecture. The island was last inhabited in 2002, but remnants of human habitation, such as shrines and wells, can still be seen today. A recommended "survival plan" is to charter a boat and disembark from a designated area.

There is no electricity or running water, so you will have to set up your tent, secure food, and even start a fire yourself. You can bring your own ingredients, but you can also catch and prepare fish in the abundant fishing grounds. Rediscover your instincts for the wild in a self-sufficient survival environment!
