CPS (Complex Seoul) is an art collective that includes Seol Dongju, who illustrated the cover of the special feature "Nobody Knows What's Happening in Korea Now!", which was released in April this year.

The five members, Joo Jaebum, 275C (Ichiro.C), Kim Dong-ho, Seol Dongju, and Lee Dong Hoon, are based in Seoul, South Korea. In addition to their own personal art endeavors, they have received numerous commissions from a variety of clients, including Starbucks and MUJI, making them a strong presence in the South Korean art scene.

What's interesting is that although each of the five artists has a different style, including painting, sculpture, graphics, and video, there is a sense of unity as a collective. While the exhibition is pop, it also captures, from each artist's perspective, emotions that we all have these days, such as "inferiority complex" and "shaking self-esteem."

This traveling exhibition builds on the exhibition held in Fukuoka, and will also include new works.

Seol Dong-ju will be showcasing new works he painted during his stay in Fukuoka, as well as works capturing the scenery of Tokyo, which he previously visited. If you want to get a feel for Seoul's art and graphic scene, this is the place to go.
